Orang FM celebrates Eid Mubarak with Muslim friends at the Kumasi City Mall

Kumasi’s music leader, Orange Fm celebrates Eid-Mubarak with Muslims in grand style.

After thirty (30) days of steadfastness, Muslims across the world celebrate Eid al-Fitr -a feast of “breaking the fast”.

Eid al-Fitr is a religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide. Also, it marks the end of the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting of Ramadan.

Kumasi’s urban experience Orange 107.9mhz joined in the celebration of the festival with a captivating outside broadcast program.

Furthermore, the event took place at the food court of the Kumasi City Mall on May 13, 2021. Raheema Boamah Boakye, head of, Ashanti cluster, access bank hosted the event. With support from Haruna Yussif, a renowned banker.

The two hosts, staunch and impactful Muslims took over the presenter seats and gave the audience gathered a good holiday treat. The program started at 3 pm where hosts engaged the audience gathered at the mall with conversations on how the fast went and how they are celebrating with family and loved ones.

Similarly, requested songs by the audience were played for them to dance to.

The event was streamed live on Facebook and on air. In addition, other exciting activities included a karaoke session where the audience sang their hearts out to their favorite karaoke jam and it definitely was a sight to behold.

Listeners of Orange FM used this opportunity to get up close and personal with their favorite on-air personalities.

The day ended with back-to-back jams from Orange FM’s seasoned DJs. This gave the audience the chance to unleash the craziest of dance moves on the dance floor.

At the end of the day, our Muslim brothers and sisters went home with joy and excitement.
