A member of the Ashanti Regional Communication Team of the largest opposition party, National Democratic Congress(NDC), Joshua Kwame Fugah asserts no reasonable and sensitive government would introduce new tariffs in this era.

According to the former banker, it’s irrational for a government to make such a decision in these difficult times.

“No reasonable and sensitive government would introduce new tariffs in the era of a debt exchange program discussion,” Mr Fugah told Alfa Ali on the Orange Sunrise.

The, then Deputy Regional Secretary hopeful noted that, Commercial Banks and Insurance institutions will fall over, provided the debt exchange program comes into existence.

“Commercial Banks and Insurance institutions will collapse when the debt Exchange Program is implemented”

Joshua Kwame Fugah is a graduate of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He worked with the Bank of Africa for several years. In the the year 2022, he contested to be the deputy regional secretary of the NDC in the Ashanti Region but lost marginally.
